What the extension sends

When you open a car ad or a page of search results on a supported site, the extension sends our server the site name, the ad number and address, the asking price and currency, and the public details of the car (make, model, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, engine size, body type, and whether the seller is a dealer or private). That's it.

What it never sends

We never collect anything that identifies a person. There are no sign-ups, device fingerprints or tracking cookies, and we never see pages other than car listings on supported sites. Sellers stay anonymous too: names, phone numbers, photos, messages and exact locations are never read.

Your watchlist

Your watchlist is stored only in your browser. To check watched cars, the extension loads those ads directly from the listing sites.

Checking a link on the website

When you paste an ad link on our site, our server opens that one public ad page to read its price and spec, the same details listed above. If you type the details in yourself, they're used for your check only and aren't stored.

Email alerts

If you ask for price alerts we keep your email address and the ads you watch, only to email you when they change. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe that deletes both.

Server logs

For abuse protection we keep a salted, one-way hash of the requesting IP address for up to two hours, then delete it.
